Description

Exide AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries have been developed in close cooperation with leading European car manufacturers. The AGM battery is based on a technology where the electrolyte is impregnated in glass fibre separators. This allows fast and repeated start-up and charging cycles. This is an indispensable prerequisite for hybrid vehicles equipped with Stop & Start and brake energy recovery systems.
The Exide AGM battery meets the requirements of an original spare part in terms of quality and technology. Excellent durability, withstands start-up and recharge cycles three times longer than a lead-acid battery. Very slow self-discharge.
Maximum safety - the AGM battery is hermetically sealed and leak proof. Gases generated (hydrogen and oxygen) are recombined inside the battery into water.
The AGM type battery is also a good choice for other applications where there is a high demand for energy, such as boats, caravans and alarm vehicles.
