Description

Construction adhesive is a one-component PU polyurethane adhesive that increases its own volume as it cures, filling pores and voids. The adhesive is hardenable under the influence of moisture, with a thixotropic paste structure. Provides very strong joints with high moisture resistance (class D4). For use in repair/construction where strong adhesion is required. Adheres to all materials: wood, wood-based products (plywood, particle board, OSB), stone, plaster, concrete, brick, marble, granite, ceramics, porcelain, stoneware, glass, rubber, most metals and their alloys, cast iron, aluminium, steel, plastics: Plexiglas, polyester, Bakelite, acrylic glass, polycarbonates, PVC, ABS (excl.except polyethylene, polypropylene) and other building materials: glass wool, mineral wool, polyurethane foam. The product also perfectly combines the above combinations of materials. Impact resistant, flexible. Adhesive residues can be removed after curing either mechanically or with a cloth moistened with acetone or white spirit.

Application:
For best results, the components to be bonded must be clean and free of grease. Synthetic and metallic surfaces must first be roughened (e.g. with sandpaper). The adhesive can be applied to damp substrates. At least one of the surfaces must be porous or highly vapour permeable for best adhesion. Smooth surfaces must be sanded/roughened and lightly sprayed with water (10 to 20 g/m²).
1. Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces and bond the surfaces together immediately.
2. Press the surfaces to be bonded tightly together and fix (e.g. with tape) until the adhesive has fully cured.

Colour: light yellow
Full cure: 24 hours (max. 48 hours, depending on temperature, humidity - the higher the humidity, the faster the adhesive dries and the thickness of the adhesive layer).
Temperature resistance: -30ºC to +80ºC (-30ºC to +80ºC).
Storage temperature: +5ºC to +25ºC. +5°C to +5ºC. Protect from moisture.
