Sanitary epoxy paste. Based on epoxy resin, glass fibre and special moisture crosslinking agents. The product is intended for the removal of leaks in pressure vessels. The epoxy paste does not bleed from vertical surfaces and is resistant to chemical attack and weathering. It is characterised by very high adhesion to metals, plastics, stone and concrete.
Application examples:
Repair of central heating radiators
repair of central heating systems, central heating pipes
HOW TO USE
1. Locate the leak and turn off the water supply. Remondi ajal ei tohi vesi välja voolata, sest see võib kõvenemata pasta minema uhtuda.
2. Before repairing, roughen the surfaces to be repaired with sandpaper or a file.
3. Remove all dirt and grease.
4. Prepare a mixing bowl
5. Place equal amounts of epoxy paste ingredients A+B in the mixing bowl.
6. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until a uniform colour is obtained.
7. Apply a layer of the mixed epoxy paste to the surface to be repaired.
8. Insert the fibreglass mesh (supplied) into the paste.
9. Allow to stand for approximately 30 minutes for the paste to initially cure.
10. Apply a second coat of mixed epoxy paste (following points 5 to 7) to the area to be repaired.
TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Before mixing the components, place the containers with components A+B in hot water for about 5 minutes. The heated components will have a lower viscosity, making it easier to remove them from the containers and mix them together in the quantities required for the repair.
Do not mix components A+B in larger quantities than can be used within 30 minutes.
Repair time can be shortened by heating the repaired area with hot air.
The repaired areas can be reinforced with fibreglass mesh (T-048).
