Two component epoxy compound. Developed for repairs on mechanical equipment without disassembly. Fills imperfections, seals and bonds almost all materials. The product can be used to repair: cracked pumps, leaking coolers and tanks, various connectors (electrical fuses), bundles of electrical wires, housings and handles, broken headlights, dashboard, bumper, chassis parts, etc. It can also be used to repair the following parts. The material can be used with different materials such as metal (aluminium, steel, cast iron), plastic (PVC, Plexiglas), glass, wood, stone, etc. The joints are resistant to vibrations, temperatures and chemicals. The product protects metal elements against corrosion and is a good electrical insulator. It can be machined after curing.
Application:
Surfaces to be joined must be clean (e.g. use sandpaper), free of oil and dirt.
1. Heat components A and B to room temperature before mixing.
2. Take equal amounts of Component A and B and mix/wash between your hands until the colour is uniform. Apply the product within 5 minutes of mixing. Do not mix components A and B in greater quantities than you can use within 5 minutes.
3. Apply the epoxy compound to the surfaces to be bonded or repaired and allow the surfaces to stand for at least 45 minutes. After approximately 12 hours, the joints/repairs can be mechanically processed.
The repair time can be shortened by heating the bonded area with hot air. Surfaces that are difficult to bond should be covered with a thin layer of liquid epoxy adhesive (e.g. E-358) beforehand and left to dry.
