Description

2-component methacrylate adhesive in an easy-to-use syringe. Ideal for bonding metal structures, composite joints, stone, glass, wood, carbon, plastics and ceramics. Indispensable for durable and very strong bonding of stainless steel (strength up to 300kg/cm2). Effective bonding of metals and their alloys: cast iron, aluminium, iron, copper, bronze, zinc, chrome and galvanised steel. Also suitable for the most difficult to bond materials. Not suitable for bonding PP, PE and PTFE plastics. Compared to polyurethane adhesives, the product has a much higher strength and a higher tolerance for unprepared surfaces and bonds very fast. Resistant to UV radiation, mould, fungi, salt water. Provides a colourless and invisible joint that is resistant to impact and vibration, will not crack.

Application:
For best results, surfaces to be bonded must be grease-free, clean and dry.
1. Squeeze the syringe, discard the first few drops (to achieve the correct adhesive to hardener ratio).
2. Squeeze the required amount of components from the syringe onto the plastic cup and mix thoroughly with the mixer provided, quickly, within 15 seconds.
3. Apply the mixed adhesive components sparingly to a single surface to be bonded, either in dots or by forming a thin layer. Bond the surfaces together within one minute.
4. Apply pressure for about 30 seconds to spread the adhesive into a thin layer and hold the surfaces to be bonded in place and, if necessary, pressurised for a few minutes (initial cross-linking of the adhesive will take 3-5 minutes).
5. Unused adhesive can be stored by replacing the cap on the cleaned syringe tip.
6. Heavy items should be held still until the adhesive has fully cured.
Colour: colourless, transparent
Application time: The mixed adhesive must be used up and surfaces fixed within 1 minute after mixing.
Initial setting: 10-15 minutes.
Full cure: 12 hours
The cured element can be handled approx. 30 minutes after bonding. 1.5 - 12 minutes. Keep heavy items immobile until the adhesive has fully cured.
Maximum distance between glued parts: 3 mm.
Temperature resistance: -50°C to +130°C
Store at +5°C to +25°C
