Use the controller wirelessly with batteries (4x AAA, not included) or place it anywhere in your cabin and connect the controller with the included USB cable. The relay box can withstand harsh environments, is waterproof, IP67 rated and rubber grommets protect the cables. The control panel is colour coordinated. Nine buttons are amber, eight are white and one is blue. The amber buttons are dedicated to the Cruise Light Roof strips and can be used to control strip functions such as changing patterns or switching them on and off. For most functions, the button is highlighted when active and the patterns of the roof strips are also displayed on the surrounding LED lights. You can also confirm the buttons by day mode, night mode and travel light mode. The three buttons, left, centre and right, are used for traffic information, flashing from right to left, centre to outside and left to right. The blue button switches all connected lighting on and off, and the lights return to the same state before being switched off using the built-in memory function. Pressing for three seconds turns on all channels. If you want to control all lighting with a relay box, use a signal cable. The signal cable allows, for example, the reversing light to be connected to one of the four channels and used as a wireless control unit. This becomes a double function.
